You’re not alone.
Unfortunately child sexual abuse is a pervasive problem.
Bridges of Courage Counseling is a Christian agency
providing therapy to children, ages 2–17, who have experienced abuse and/or neglect,
specializing in treatment for those sexually abused.
Caring for a child who has been abused can be confusing, overwhelming, painful, and even paralyzing.
Child abuse shatters our belief that we live in an environment of safety and trust.
While this disintegration of security is felt by a child, it is experienced at an even greater degree by the adults who love and care for them.
Bridges of Courage Counseling
is a partner for your healing journey.
Healing from abuse is not an event but a process.
It is a journey that takes courage just to make the first step, reaching out for help.
Don’t wait to get the help!
Even if your child seems to be doing well after disclosing the abuse,
counseling is a crucial step in the healing process.
Abuse is not just a physical invasion but an attack on mind, soul, and spirit.
Forgoing appropriate mental health treatment can have significant, long-term negative effects.
Help her get back to herself.
Lack of insurance coverage should never prevent a child from receiving the help needed.
Please contact Bridges of Courage Counseling for payment options.

Thank you for being there for our family, and for making our appointments easy. I prayed for God to give us the best counselor He had and I believe He did. Thank you for not only talking to us, but also for talking to God for us.
From the first day in your office, I knew we had a partner in healing, in caring and in determination. You’ve been an immense source of support and guidance for us. We can’t thank you enough for all that you did for the boys as they processed things children should never have to face. Your compassion and calm demeanor really helped us to maintain our focus and be there for both boys.
Thank you for being there for us in our trial. You are a wonderful blessing.
